The monochrome alphanumeric display adopts a fixed format for the number of alphanumeric characters, such as 2 lines with 8 characters per line. The range of the character display module is from 8x1 lines to 40x4 lines. These highly reliable displays are ideal choices for industrial and consumer products - they have the advantages of low power consumption and a wide operating temperature range. There are various ready-made alphanumeric LCD and character LCD products to choose from.
Monochrome displays have pixel arrays, providing greater flexibility, but also requiring more effort as the process of driving the display is somewhat complex.
There are various cost-effective standard products available for segmented glass LCDs, which use multiplexing technology to reduce the number of control pins required to drive the display. Variants with high stability and extended temperature range are available for selection, making these products highly suitable for applications such as instruments and control panels. If needed, art customization is an economical option.
The range of character modules is from 8x1 to 40x4 lines. The range of graphic display is from 100 x 32 to 240 x 128 pixels.
