The Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) is a new generation technology, brighter and clearer images with more agile responding speed. This OLED 1.45" inch model no. UG-6028GDEEF01 OLED display is made of 160 x 128 dots individual mono color. This OLED module is lightweight, low power and small, there are different interfaces optional; it is default SPI, Parallel and I2C interface.
The size of the active area is 1.45” diagonal with module dimension 35.80 x 30.80 x 1.60 (mm), active area dimension 28.78 x 23.024 (mm). This 1.45 inches OLED display has built-in IC SSD1333 and boasts high contrast ratio 20,000 : 1. Logic supply voltage ranges from 1.65V-3.5V, the typical value is 3V. It is great for the application such as medical device, POS system, white goods, home applications, industrial instrument, automation, audio/visual display systems, personal care appliances, household goods, automobile displays, Dynamic information displays etc.

Designing Precautions for OEL display module
1) The absolute maximum ratings are the ratings which cannot be exceeded for OEL display module, and if these values are exceeded, panel damage may be happen.
2) To prevent occurrence of malfunctioning by noise, pay attention to satisfy the VIL and VIH specifications and, at the same time, to make the signal line cable as short as possible.
3) We recommend you to install excess current preventive unit (fuses, etc.) to the power circuit (VDD). (Recommend value: 0.5A)
4) Pay sufficient attention to avoid occurrence of mutual noise interference with the neighboring devices.
5) As for EMI, take necessary measures on the equipment side basically.
6) When fastening the OEL display module, fasten the external plastic housing section.
7) If power supply to the OEL display module is forcibly shut down by such errors as taking out the main battery while the OEL display panel is in operation, we cannot guarantee the quality of this OEL display module.
8) The electric potential to be connected to the rear face of the IC chip should be as follows: SSD1333

Light color conversion
The light color conversion is based on the blue OLED combined with the light color conversion film array, the blue OLED device is first prepared, and then the high-energy blue light excitation light color conversion material is used to obtain red light and green light, so as to obtain full color.
The key to this technology is to improve the color purity and photocolor efficiency of the photo-color conversion material. This technology does not require metal mask alignment technology, but only evaporates blue OLED components, which is one of the most promising full-color technologies for large-size full-color OLED displays in the future.
However, its disadvantage is that the light color conversion material is easy to absorb blue light in the environment, resulting in a decrease in image contrast, and the light guide will also cause a decrease in image quality. Japan's Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., which has mastered this technology, has produced 10-inch OLED displays.
Color filter film
This technology uses white OLED combined with color filter film, first prepares a device that emits white OLED, and then obtains three primary colors through the color filter film, and then combines three primary colors to achieve color display.
The key to this technology is to obtain high-efficiency and high-purity white light, and its production process does not require metal mask alignment technology, and can use the mature color filter film production technology of liquid crystal display LCD, which has great potential in large-size full-color OLED display-TV.
However, with this technology, up to two-thirds of the light is lost through the color filter. At present, TDK Corporation of Japan and Kodak Corporation of the United States use this method to make OLED displays.
